Governing Body Committees

In January 2023, the Federation joined the Mater Christi Multi Academy Trust. We are in the process of aligning the working of the governing body to the procedures of the Trust.  As a result, the only standing committee is the Pay Review Committee, which incorporates the Head Teacher Appraisal Committee.

If a committee or working party is required for any other reason, it will be formed at a meeting of the local governing body, for a specific function or period of time.

In order to ensure appropriate governor oversight of our schools, each governor is linked to a specific curriculum area or to a specific role and will visit both schools in that capacity each term to discuss standards, operation and good practice with the appropriate staff member before reporting back to the local governing body.
